Management Trainees (Technical): 450 posts,

State Bank of India, invites on-line applications from Indian citizens for appointment in Clerical Cadre post in its Associate Banks. The results of Syndicate Bank recruitment for 1000 Probationary Clerks has been released. The written test was conducted in the month of June 2010 across various centres.The Interview schedule is also given for the shortlisted candidates.
Syndicate Bank recruitment of 1000 Clerks was notified during March/ April 2010 & the written test for these posts were held on June 27, 2010

Syndicate Bank was established in 1925 in Udupi, the abode of Lord Krishna in coastal Karnataka with a capital of Rs.8000/- by three visionaries - Sri Upendra Ananth Pai, a businessman, Sri Vaman Kudva, an engineer and Dr.T M A Pai, a physician - who shared a strong commitment to social welfare. Their objective was primarily to extend financial assistance to the local weavers who were crippled by a crisis in the handloom industry through mobilising small savings from the community. The bank collected as low as 2 annas daily at the doorsteps of the depositors through its Agents under its Pigmy Deposit Scheme started in 1928.

Candidates currently in final year of their engineering studies may also apply. However, if selected, they must be in a position to submit their final mark sheet by 31st July 2011.

Age Limit :
Maximum 26 years as on 30th June 2011 for the general category candidates. Age relaxation for OBC (Non Creamy Layer)/SC/ST/PH candidates will be applicable as per the Presidential Directive.

I. Academic Qualification:
Any Bachelor degree (10 +2 + 3 Pattern) from a college affiliated to a recognized University (Correspondence and Open Universities are not eligible) with percentage of marks as given below:

II. Technical Qualification :

Not more than 28 years for Graduates and 30 years for Post Graduates / Double Graduates as on 31.08.2010 (5 years relaxable for SC/ST candidates)

IV. Mode of Selection:
Written Test (Objective Type) and Personal Interview. Examination will be held at selected centres in Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Tamilnadu.

V. Exam Fees :
Demand Draft for Rs.300/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of THE KARUR VYSYA BANK LIMITED and payable at CHENNAI only. The Candidates should bring the demand draft while appearing for written test. It will be collected by our invigilators in the exam hall.

Note : SC / ST candidates should submit the proof for their caste while appearing for written examination.
Mere eligibility will not vest any right on the candidates for being called for Written Test. Bank’s decision in the matter of selection will be final and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard. In Resume data entry providing E-mail id is mandatory. All our correspondences viz. Exam call letters, Interview call letters etc. will be sent only through E-mail and hard copy of the same will not be sent to the candidates. So kindly ensure the correctness of Email id before saving your resume.
In Resume data entry, the candidates who are awaiting results has to enter the aggregate percentage of marks upto the previous semester. However the final selection will be based on aggregate percentage of marks of all semesters. If the percentage of marks is in CGPA mode, the same should be converted into equivalent percentage and entered in the resume data entry.
While applying candidates are advised to note down the reference number received through mail for future correspondences.
